CB Electrical Services are fully qualified to the latest version of BS 7671 – The IET Wiring Regulations. Therefore, you can rest assured that all work carried out will carried out to the latest specifications safely and professionally.
In January 2005, Part P of the Building Regulations came into force. These regulations introduced safety standards to electrical installations within domestic properties.
Part P and the Building Regulations
Communities and Local Government is the government department responsible for administering the Building Regulations and hence the operation of what are known as competent persons schemes.
The exception to this rule is when the work is carried out by a contractor who is a member of a Competent Persons Scheme. By using a contractor who is registered with a Competent Persons Scheme, the contractor will be able to self-certify that the work meets the required standards and that it has been notified to the local authority on your behalf.
CB Electrical Services are registered on a Competent Persons Scheme provided by ELECSA. Therefore you can rest assured that the work undertaken meets the Government Regulations as well as the Wiring Regulations.
